Follow the steps below to set up the printer using the Easy Wireless Connect method.
Press the On or Stop button on the Canon Pixma TS302.
Then, hold the Direct button until the Direct LED flashes.
Ensure that the Wireless lamp is flashing.
Now, download the printer driver and run it. This set up can also be done using the CD-ROM supplied along with the printer.
On the Start Setup screen, click the Start Setup button.
Now, choose your Country and click Next.

Read the License Agreement carefully and click Yes to confirm. Click Next.
Click Yes on the Check Connection Method screen.
Then, select your wireless router on the next screen that appears.
The Setup information screen appears.
Wait for the Network Connection Completed screen to appear.
The Head Alignment and Test Print screens will be displayed, if you select any of them, follow the on-screen instructions.
You can choose additional software to be installed for the printer.
Once the setup completes, click Next.

First, unpack the Canon Pixma ts302 printer, and remove the Styrofoam caps from both the sides.
Next, remove the protective cover from the Canon Pixma ts302.
Then, check whether all the required contents are attached with the package, such as the power cable, ink cartridges, user manuals, setup software, and user manual CD, ink, and media leaflet.
Connect one end of the power cable to the Canon Pixma ts302 and the other end to the electrical socket.

Open the front door and the cartridge door.
Next, unpack the ink cartridges and make sure that the ink cartridges are correctly loaded into its slot.
Close the front door and wait for some time.
When the Wireless LED starts flashing, it indicates that the Canon Pixma ts302 is ready for Wi-Fi setup.

Open a new web browser and go to the manufacturer site.
Enter the series number as Pixma TS302 in the search field and click Search.
Two drop-down boxes will appear with step 1 & 2.
In step 1, select the operating system family of your computer.
In step 2, select the specific operating system version.

Then, in the next window, select the Full Driver and Software package.
Now, choose a language and click Download.
Save the file in a secure location.
Next, on the computer, select the downloaded file, and right-click on it, and select Run.
The file will now begin to install.

How to Print

Here are the guidelines to print a document/photo on the Canon Pixma TS302 printer by using My Image Garden.
- Power on the Canon Pixma TS902 printer and wait until it initializes.
- Raise the Pixma device’s paper support located on the top.
- Extend the Pixma TS302 printer’s paper output tray and its output tray extension.
- Place the paper in the portrait orientation with the print side facing towards you. Move the paper guide to secure the paper.
- Go to the Pixma device’s control panel and check whether the correct paper size LED glows. If the wrong LED glows, tap the Paper Select button to choose the paper type.
- Open the Pixma device software on your computer and click the My Image Garden icon. Click the Photo Print option and then select the photo’s source folder. Select the photo/document to be printed and click Print.
- Set the required printing preferences such as the number of copies, media type, etc., and then click Print to begin printing.
- To print photos on the Pixma TS302 printer from a smartphone, download, install, and launch the Canon PRINT Inkjet application. After connecting the Pixma TS302 printer to the smartphone, choose the Photo Print option on the Canon PRINT app. Choose the photo/photos to be printed and set the printing preferences. Tap Print to begin printing.
How to Copy

Here are the guidelines to make copies on a Pixma TS302 printer by using a smartphone/tablet.
- Download, install, and launch the Canon PRINT Inkjet app on your smartphone. Connect the smartphone to the Pixma TS302 printer via the PRINT Inkjet app and proceed to the next step.
- Load paper in the Pixma TS302 printer and then load the original document on the marked smartphone copy grid.
- Choose the Smartphone Copy option on the screen and then take a picture of the original document by keeping the phone in the landscape orientation.
- Set the perspective correction frame and then select Next. Adjust the brightness and orientation for the image. Tap Done-->Next.
- Set the printing preferences on the screen and then select Print.
How to Scan

Here are the guidelines to scan a document on the Pixma TS302 printer by using a smartphone.
- Download, install, and launch the Canon PRINT Inkjet app on your smartphone.
- Set a document/photo on the Pixma device’s grid surface and take a picture using the smartphone.
- The PRINT Inkjet application automatically performs the edge-detection. Adjust the brightness & orientation of the image as required and select Done.
- Touch the Export option on your app screen and wait until the document is saved as PDF. Set a name for the document and then tap OK. Tap Next.
- Set the printing preferences and then tap Print.

Wireless Setup

Start Easy Wireless Connect on your Pixma TS302 printer by following these steps.

Power on the Pixma TS302 printer and wait until it initializes.
Check whether the Wireless LED flashes and then press the ON button on your Pixma device.
Touch the Direct button on the Pixma device and keep holding it until the Direct LED flashes.
Check whether the Wireless LED flashes, return to the application screen, and follow the on-screen prompts.
Download the driver for the printer or use the Setup CD provided with the printer for the printer setup.
Launch the Pixma TS302 printer driver installer on your computer and then click Start Setup. Choose the correct region from the list and then click Next. Click Yes.
Click either Agree or Disagree on the next screen (Choosing either of these options does not affect the installation.) Click Next. Click the Yes button to begin the connection.
Choose the correct Wi-Fi SSID, enter the Wi-Fi passphrase, and click Next. On the Connection completed screen, click Next.
Click Next after checking whether the required software checkboxes have been selected.
You can click Next to proceed to the Pixma TS302 printer registration screen. If you want to skip it, click Skip. Click the Exit button to finish the setup.

Wi-Fi Direct

Here are the guidelines to print with Wireless Direct on the Pixma TS302 printer.

Power on the Pixma TS302 printer and then wait until it initializes.
Tap the Direct button on the Pixma device and then proceed to the next step.
Toggle Wi-Fi on the smart device and then connect to the Pixma TS302 Wi-Fi SSID. Enter the correct passphrase.
Launch the Canon PRINT Inkjet app on your smart device and open the document/photo to be printed.
Tap the 'Print' option and wait until the document/photo is printed.

Open the Canon PRINT Inkjet app on your smartphone and connect it to the Canon TS302 printer by following these steps.
Power on the Pixma TS302 printer and wait until it initializes. Tap the Direct button.
The ‘Printer is not registered’ message appears on the PRINT Inkjet app screen. Tap Yes. When the Pixma TS302 printer appears on the Setup screen, tap it.

The message stating that the Pixma 302 printer will be connected to the Wi-Fi SSID appears on the screen. Tap Yes. Enter the Wi-Fi SSID’s correct passphrase. Tap OK. Tap the Pixma TS302 printer option on the next screen.
Enter a name for the Pixma TS302 printer and then tap OK. Now, the Pixma TS302 printer has been connected and is ready to print documents.

Canon Pixma Ts302 Mobile Printing

Make use of the mobile printing apps supported by the printer to connect your mobile and assign print jobs from your mobile phone to the printer.

Apple Airprint

First, download the AirPrint app on your iOS device.
To do so, visit the App Store and search for the AirPrint app.
Download the AirPrint app and install it on your device using the prompts displayed.
Launch the app after installation. Make sure the Pixma TS302 printer is turned on and that you have loaded paper in the input tray.
Find the Operation icon on the home screen and tap it. From the menu that pops-up, select the Print option.
Choose the Printer from the Printer Options menu. Check the print settings and edit them if required.
Tap Print and the selected documents will be printed.

Google Cloud Print

Use the instructions that are specified here to print using the Google Cloud Print.

Before printing your documents, you have to register your Canon Pixma TS302 printer.
To do so, open the Google Chrome browser on your system.
Choose the Sign In to Chrome option from the Chrome menu.
Next, sign into your Google account. Go to Settings present under Chrome menu.
Choose the Show Advanced Settings option to access the printer information.
Click the Manage for the Google Cloud Print option. Click the Add Printers option to add your Canon Pixma Ts302 printer to the list.
Once the registration process is over, you can proceed to the printing process.
Make sure you have logged into your Google account. From the Chrome menu, select the Print option.
Click the Change button and then choose the Destination option.
You have to select your Canon TS302 printer in Local Destinations.
Click the Print option.

Go to Play Store and download the Canon PRINT Inkjet/SELPHY app on your device.
Open it after the installation is over and register the printer with the SELPHY app.
Tap the Printer icon present on the main screen of the app.
The Printer Settings screen will now appear. Select the Register to the Cloud option.
Choose the Yes option in the IJ Cloud Printing Center Setup window.
Mention a language, nickname, and time zone of your choice.

Press OK, and the registration process will be complete.
Go to the home screen of the SELPHY app and go to the More menu. Select the Cloud option.
Tap the Start button available on the next screen. Navigate to the main screen and select the CANON iMAGE GATEWAY option.
Choose an album of your choice and select the set of photos you wish to print.
Edit the print settings and tap OK to initiate the printing process.

Canon pixma Ts302 Troubleshooting

Printer Offline

First, restart the printer spooler service. Access the search bar of the Start menu and search for Services.

When the Services (Local) window opens, find the Print Spooler service and right-click it. Choose the Restart option.

Next, right-click on it again and select the Properties option.

Set the Startup Type to Automatic in the next step and tap the OK button.

Launch the Control Panel on your system and click on the Hardware and Sound option.

Choose the Devices and Printers option. Find your Canon printer from the list and click the See What’s Printing option.

From the Printer tab, deselect the Use Printer Offline option. Also, choose the Cancel All Documents option from the Printer menu. This will clear the print queue.

Not Printing Black

The first solution is to check the ink levels of the Canon ink cartridges.
Launch the Printer Driver Setup window in the first step and then open the Canon IJ Status Monitor on your system.
Go to the Maintenance tab and click the View Printer Status from the drop-down list.
Click the Estimated Ink Levels option. The ink levels of the cartridges will be displayed separately.
Replace the cartridges if the ink levels are low or empty.
Check if the ink cartridge is installed properly in its slot. Re-install it if required.
Next, examine the print nozzles. If they are clogged, clean the print head and check if the issue has been resolved.

Not Working

Check if you have provided proper power supply to the Canon TS302 printer.
Examine the power cord for any damages. Replace the cable with a new power cord if required.
Check the connection between the Canon TS302 printer and the device.
If you have connected them via a USB cable, then check if you have plugged it in firmly. Replace the cable if it is damaged.
For a wireless connection, you have to check if the Canon Pixma printer and the device are connected to the same wireless network.
Run the troubleshooter on your system to check if there any issues with the printer. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen if there are any errors.

NOT RESPONDING

Check if you have to update the firmware of the Canon Pixma TS302 printer.
Find the IP address of the TS302 printer and launch a default browser on your device. Specify the IP address in the search bar.
If you are logging in for the first time, then you have to download the root certificate and register it.
Choose the Log In option and specify the password in the next step.
Edit the print settings if needed. Check the status and then sign out of the Remote UI.
Go to the printer and select the Firmware Update option. Choose the Install Update option.
Check the message that is displayed and choose the Update option. Once the update process is over, the menu screen will be displayed.
Reestablish the connection between the Canon TS302 printer and the device if the error is not rectified.
