HOW TO SETUP CANON MG3620 WIRELESS PRINTER

The Canon MG3620 printer is an all-in-one machine. With its wide range of features, the printer can easily be utilized for borderless printing and also from your mobile devices, courtesy of the wireless printing feature. With this printer, you can get detailed images with a picture-perfect resolution of 600 x 600 dpi (for black prints). A few of the printer specifications are as follows:

HARDWARE SETUP:

  • Unpack the Canon printer from the carton.
  • Peel off the protective tape surrounding the printer body.
  • Open the cartridge access door.
  • Remove the packaging material that is present inside the printer and discard it.
  • Unpack the AC power cord from the packaging.
  • Connect the cord to the rear of the printer and to the main power source.
  • Now, press the  Power  button on the left side of the printer. 
  • Open the cartridge door on the right side of the printer and remove the protective material present inside.
  • Unpack the ink cartridge from the cover and peel off the protective tapes.
  • Open the head cover and place the color ink cartridge on the left side and the black ink cartridge on the right.
  • Push both the ink cartridges until they snap in their places and close the head cover. Close the cartridge door.
  • Once done, the printer will charge the ink (you will notice the LED on the printer blink while it charges).
  • Pull the paper input tray and have a paper stack ready in hand.
  • Place the paper inside with the print side facing down.
  • According to the size of the paper, adjust the paper guides accordingly.

SOFTWARE SETUP:

  • Place the installation CD into the CD/DVD drive of your computer to proceed with the installation. For a Mac computer, you can download the driver from the official Canon support page.
  • Once the computer runs the CD, open the setup file and run the installation.
  • Follow the commands on the screen and wait for the connection screen to appear.
  • Click the  Next  button and follow the on-screen commands.
  • Once you see the message  Setup Complete Setup Complete, click  Next .
  • Click the checkbox for the additional software list that opens and click  Next .
To know how to print wirelessly, follow these simple steps.
  • Open the document or image you want to print from your computer.
  • Click the  File  tab and select  Print .
  • Choose the Canon MG3620 printer from the list of printers connected to your computer.
  • Click  Print Preferences   and wait for a small window to open.
  • Select the  Media Type ,  Print Quality , Printer Paper Size  , and other settings.
  • Click  Apply followed by OK .
  • Click  Print.
